Softball Pitching Clinic Wraps Up For 2023
April 4, 2023 Eight weeks flew by faster than a speeding softball as the 2023 TBDMSA Pitching Clinic came to a close at the Tottenham Community Centre.  This free clinic hosted by Tottenham-Beeton District Minor Softball, focused on skill development for boys and girls wanting to work on their pitching and catching skills.

There were 46 registered participants for the Clinic including pitchers and catchers between the ages of eight and 19 years old.  Lead Instructor Sasha Laroque kept the players all actively engaged throughout the duration of each clinic with drills and fun challenges to improve their skills.  Sergeant Arnett of the Nottawasaga OPP also joined our group for the end of season clinic!

Participant comments such as “I feel faster now” and “My son had so much fun!  Such a great thing to have in our community” were heard during and after the event.  Some players had never tried pitching before and one parent expressed joy when they said their daughter gained confidence in herself because she learned and excelled at pitching.

Now the stage is set for building on their skills as the softball season starts the third week of May.  This year’s record registration numbers are encouraging to see the interest level in softball in our community.

Registration closes April 15th so please act soon if you want your child to play ball this summer!
