Peter and Kim Browne Win Award
Peter and Kim Browne were presented The Bucky Award for their long-standing dedication to softball in the community at the 2023 Tottenham Oldtimers Slo-Pitch League and Tottenham Ladies Lob Ball League Awards Banquet on Saturday October 21.

This award is not presented on an annual basis and is done when special circumstances are warranted.

The TBDMSA knows and appreciates how valuable Peter is to our organization. Peter has been involved in our Association as a proud father watching his daughter Regan play and enjoy ball, he has been a Coach and most notably the Treasurer and Scheduler for 18 years.

Peter really does care about the player's experience and wants to see them develop their skills.  He can recall so many players from over the years by name, position and what kind of a player they were.  Over his 18 years, Peter has probably helped 4,000 players enjoy the game of softball in our community with his tireless efforts of administering the game. While we don’t always say thank you each time we see him, we really appreciate his work because we don’t know where we would be without him.

Kim's baseball career spans four decades, for a total of 26 years in the league. Throughout those years she has spent a considerable amount of time as a Team Captain and since 2009, Kim accepted the role of Treasurer, and still is to this day. She has decided to step down and this will be her last year, but of course in her true fashion, will stay on as the stats lady to ensure our new Treasurer learns the ropes and continues her legacy.

It was an honour to present the award along with Tottenham Ladies Lob Ball League President Brandy Cremascoli and Tottenham Oldtimer's Slo-Pitch League President Dave Storms, to Peter and Kim.
