Organization - Don't forget to hydrate
Submitted By Nicole Hogan on Tuesday, July 3, 2018
With the heat wave that we are having, we thought it would be a good idea to remind everyone to make sure players, coaches and spectators are staying hydrated.

If you are thirsty then you are already dehydrated.

  • Tips on staying hydrated:

If you can, try to drink two glasses of water one hour prior to game time.

During the game try to drink six ounces every two innings.  If players follow these guidelines they should stay hydrated.

During heat waves or back to back games a sport drink may be a better option to help with cramps. If a sports drink is not an option, drinking water should keep players hydrated as long as players drink a sufficient amount before, during and after the game.

Stay hydrated and Let' Play  Ball!
